07/22/2010 - Atlanta, GA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Atlanta Thrashers announced they have re- signed goaltender Ondrej Pavelec to a multi-year contract.

Exact terms of the contract were not provided, per team policy.

The 22-year-old appeared in 42 games in 2009-10 -- his first full NHL season -- and went 14-18-7 with two shutouts and a 3.29 goals-against average.

In parts of three seasons, all with Atlanta, Pavelec is 20-28-7 with a 3.33 GAA over 61 games.

Pavelec was originally the team's second-round pick in 2005.
